Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any SureDataPro product — the offline desktop application for Windows, the cloud dashboard at www.suredatapro.com, or the SureDataPro Android application (Google Play package in.areafair.suredataproapp) — or by visiting our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the software or website.

2. License Grant

SureDataPro grants you a free, unlimited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the SureDataPro desktop software for your dental practice. There is no limit on the number of patients, records, or duration of use. This desktop license is granted at no cost; no fee, subscription, or credit card is required.

The SureDataPro cloud dashboard and Android app are governed by a separate access model: the clinic obtains an account that is free up to a published patient limit, beyond which a paid plan applies (see Pricing). The Android app itself is free to install from Google Play; access requires a valid clinic account credential. Section 5 below sets out the additional terms that apply to the cloud dashboard and Android app.

3. Permitted Use

You may use SureDataPro to manage your dental clinic's patient records, clinical notes, fees, and reports. The software is intended for use by qualified dental practitioners and their authorized staff.

You may not:

4. Data Responsibility

All patient data entered into the offline SureDataPro desktop application is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for the security, backup, and lawful handling of patient data in compliance with applicable laws in your country (including but not limited to India's DPDP Act 2023, HIPAA in the USA, GDPR in Europe, or equivalent local regulations).

SureDataPro does not have access to data stored by the offline desktop application and assumes no liability for data loss, breach, or misuse on your local systems.

For the cloud dashboard and Android app, patient data is stored on our servers on the clinic's behalf — the clinic remains the data controller, and SureDataPro acts as the data processor. Section 5 below sets out the corresponding responsibilities; the Privacy Policy (Section 9) describes the data we hold and how it is protected.

5. Cloud Dashboard & Android App — Roles, Use, & Account Closure

5a. Account & Eligible Users

The cloud dashboard and the SureDataPro Android application (Google Play package in.areafair.suredataproapp) are intended for use by qualified dental practitioners and their authorised clinic staff only. The clinic owner is responsible for keeping login credentials secure, for the actions taken under those credentials, and for the conduct of any staff member granted access. Sharing credentials with persons outside the clinic is prohibited.

5b. Clinic-as-Controller, SureDataPro-as-Processor

The dental clinic that owns the cloud account is the data controller for all patient data entered into the dashboard or uploaded through the Android app. SureDataPro acts as the data processor on the clinic's behalf. The clinic is responsible for: (i) obtaining lawful, informed patient consent before entering patient data, (ii) responding to patient-rights requests under the applicable law (DPDP Act 2023, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), (iii) accuracy of the data entered, and (iv) lawful use of any reports, images, or messages produced by the system.

5c. No Medical Advice — Clinical Judgment

SureDataPro is a practice-management and record-keeping tool. The optional clinical-decision-support tools (endodontic diagnosis assistant, access cavity planner, ortho evaluation wizard, EndoRisk, implant guidance, periodontal risk, and others) are information aids, not diagnoses or treatment plans. They do not replace the clinical judgment of a qualified dental practitioner. The treating dentist remains solely responsible for diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes. Outputs may include errors or omissions; do not rely on them as the sole basis for any clinical decision.

5d. Permitted Use of the Android App

You may use the Android app to access your clinic's cloud account for the purposes described in the app listing — patient lookup, adding visit records, uploading clinical photographs, viewing today's stats, and recording expenses. You may not (i) reverse-engineer the app, (ii) tamper with the API, (iii) use the app to access data of any clinic for which you are not authorised, or (iv) circumvent any security mechanism. The app is online-only and does not function without a network connection.

5e. Free vs. Paid Plans

Cloud accounts begin on the Free plan with the patient limit published on the Pricing page. When the limit is reached, the clinic continues to have full read access; new patient creation may be restricted until the clinic upgrades to a paid plan. Plan upgrades are arranged out-of-band via UPI or bank transfer; we do not currently process card payments inside the app.

5f. Account Termination & Data Deletion

The clinic owner may close the account and request deletion of all clinic and patient data at any time by emailing medunityapp@gmail.com from the registered clinic email. Deletion is actioned within 7 business days. Server backups are retained for 30 days as a disaster-recovery safeguard, after which they are overwritten.

SureDataPro reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any clinic that materially breaches these Terms (including but not limited to credential sharing outside the clinic, abusive API use, or use of the system for purposes other than dental practice management). Where reasonable, we will give the clinic owner notice and an opportunity to remedy.

5g. Updates & Forced Upgrade

From time to time we may release Android app updates that change behaviour, fix bugs, or address security issues. Where an update is required for the app to keep working with the cloud API, the app may prompt for an upgrade and may stop functioning on older versions. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of any associated changes to these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

SureDataPro is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. Use of the software is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SureDataPro and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the software, including loss of data.

8. Intellectual Property

SureDataPro, its name, logo, and software are the intellectual property of its founders. All rights are reserved. The free license granted in Section 2 does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights to you.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of SureDataPro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
